Contemporary artist Nalini Malani (2023 Kyoto Prize Laureate in Art and Philosophy), who is widely recognised as a pioneer of video art in India and has created phantasmagorical spaces through various media such as videos, paintings, drawings and installations, delivers a lecture as part of the Kyoto Prize at Oxford 2024.

Mathematical physicist Elliott H Lieb (2023 Kyoto Prize Laureate in Basic Sciences), whose achievements in many-body physics have laid a foundation for mathematical research in fields such as physics, chemistry and quantum information science, presents snapshots of his seventy-year journey through the world of science.

The panel discussion as part of the Kyoto Prize at Oxford 2024 will see the Laureates Dr Elliott H Lieb and Nalini Malani engage in a conversation with Professor Ngaire Woods, Dean of the Blavatnik School, discussing insights from their careers, future challenges and which skill each Laureates wished they had outside of their professional field.
